Something new

Carseat! It's a beast but I think he likes it. We got it out for our long drive to gulf shores and are seeing how he likes it. I kept the other carseat in my car so now I have two. Question. We have the big one behind the passenger seat but that means the passenger seat has to sit pretty far forward. Can I put it in the middle? If you have Had the big one in the middle did you like it? I have to say, I'm already ready to be done with carseats so not really looking forward to keeping him in one until he's 16 or whatever the new age is.

When we had just Ethan, we put the rear facing seat in the middle. It worked pretty well. One advantage is that you can get them in and out from either side.

Center back is the safest place for a car seat. Once he can ride facing front, then you can get to him from either seat too if he needs something!

Aaahh my favorite carseat! We left Mckenzee in that same carseat in the middle, rear facing until she was 19 months, so it works. Right now we have two Britax Boulevards in our car and they are side by side. Kenz on the outside and Riley in the middle. You are right they are huge. I bet he will love it for a long car ride. They are so comfy and Riley doesn't get sweaty like he used to in his chicco. Just make sure it is reclining if it is rear facing.

Oh, and I have to say that I am super jealous of all the baby food you have already made and have stored in your freezer. Riley eats ours as fast as we can make it. I really want to try those cherries you made. They looked delicious. I was thinking I should get popsicle things and make Kenzee fruit pops out of the same stuff. I'll keep checking your blog to see what new foods you make! :)

Great car seat--it's our favorite! We used it in the middle rear for as long as possible.
